How to Create a Group on Soul Refiner

In this tutorial, I will guide you through the process of creating a group on Soul Refiner, a platform for online Bible studies and resources:

Accessing the Groups Feature

To get started, log in to your Soul Refiner account and navigate to your dashboard or homepage. From there, select the "Groups" option.

Creating a New Group

Once you have accessed the Groups feature, click on the "New Group" button. You will be prompted to enter a name for your group, and once you have done so, click "Add" to create the group.

Assigning a Class to Your Group

After creating the group, the next step is to assign a class to it. Under the "Select Class" option, you can choose the course you want to assign to your group. In this example, we will choose "Warpath."

Setting Up Meeting Times

After choosing a class, specify the meeting times for your group. You can choose the dates, time of day, and frequency of your group meetings. Note that group members will have access to the video material 7 days before each meeting, so plan your meetings accordingly.

Choosing a Meeting Location

If your group meets online, add the meeting link under "Where" and choose the "Recurring" option. If your group meets in person, toggle the switch to "Physical Location" and add the necessary details. Additionally, you can generate an RSVP link to share with potential attendees, and specify a cap for the number of attendees.

Adding Members to Your Group

To add members to your group, navigate to the "No Members Invited" section and select "Fix." For each member, enter their email address or type their name to add them from the drop-down list. You can also add members from your waiting list.

Activating Your Group

To activate your group, select "Fix" next to the "Group is Not Active" message. Note that members will not be able to view videos until the group is active. Once activated, you should see the green "Active" icon next to your group name at the top.
